RE: Embrace Your Inner Epicness!

in #life7 years ago

Hey I think what makes me unique is I am a musician however conflicting my creative urges and impulses is a strong analytical side that enjoys statistics, ecnomics and crypto .Which is how I ended up on Steemit. I am also a skateboarder and have been doing this for over twent years. I was doing this before it was really popular so that is a unique passion that I still do to this day.

Hey @stickchumpion! Thanks for stopping by. That is a very interesting combination there. Artistic and analytic is pretty unique. Many times it is one extreme or the other. I like the fact that you were there before it was popular, but you have not allowed the popularity of it to snuff out your passion for skateboarding. What is your favorite part of skateboarding and music?

It took me until last year but the answer is very simple . When i do these things I have 100 % concentration and I am completely absored in the present. It is the only couple of things that holds my attention and I focus with precision. I think the secret to being happy in life is finding something to lose yourself in . When im doing a trick in skating it is a weird higher state of consciousness that I only get remotely close to when playing a good gig live or when I concentrate on hard on an analytical problem.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Being happy is finding something to lose yourself in because its through that you are able to find things that you genuinely relate to and embrace.
