Feeling appreciative of my homeland - Canada!

in #life7 years ago (edited)

I am grateful that I live in Canada and get to enjoy the abundance of good foods grow in the country. In the nearby Niagara region, they grow some of the finest produce that I could easily pick up at local supermarkets.

I purchased this beautiful organic grapes grown in the Niagara region at $4.99 CAD. They tasted so juicy, sweet and fresh.

I was lucky enough to re-visited the Niagara region recently and saw the many fine vineyards and farmlands. Indeed, this area consists of Canada’s most fertile agricultural land. Its climate, especially the substantial sunshine during the growing season, also contributes to its acclaimed agricultural and wine industries.

Actually, the above are not the only reasons I feel grateful towards my homeland, its picturesque scenery and abundance walking and cycling trails also make me appreciate this land even more.

I love this country that I am living in. And, Canada, thank you for providing us with abundance of good foods and I am forever indebted to the kindness of this country!
