Hello awesome Steemians,
My vegetable garden seems to be flourishing now that the weather is finally getting warmer, here in the Maritimes. For a little while there the plants were starting to wither and their leaves were starting to turn yellow. I am by no means an expert in gardening so at one point I thought my garden was kaput. Nonetheless I kept tending to my garden as though each plant was my child, after all they are living beings that need lots of love and attention!

There is also a cucumber plant as well as zucchini and butternut squash plants. These are a little more sensitive to the cooler air and windy days so we shall see how they turn out.
I am looking forward to the harvest but will keep you posted throughout the summer as to their progress.
Have a great evening,
-Lori
That's an awesome garden you've got yourself there!
Thanks @amberquamme! It's a labour of love :)
I don't know if you've ever heard of Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, but they have a whole selection of winter squash. They might have some varieties that would perform better in your climate if you find you have trouble with the varieties you're trying to grow. I'm not affiliated with them in any way. I just happen to use them almost exclusively for my seed purchases so I know they have a wide selection of what can be harder to find varieties of stuff. And I'm pretty sure they ship internationally. http://www.rareseeds.com/
That's great @mogardengirl. I appreciate the tip! Thanks for sharing this website. I will check it out and hopefully learn a thing or two:)
