I agree with you that childlike qualities of wonder and creativity should be fostered but I feel like in our society today we try to get children to fully conform to what we expect adult behavior to be. We tend to shun anyone that tries to break the mold or be different. I choose to be different anyway and I feel that we should all strive to be ourselves and not what others expect us to be.
