Well, as a student i am very comfortable with the "night before planning" stragety. I think this is a good tactic to plan your following day right and stressless. But the thing is, that you aren't really able to "turn off" your brain, because you bring your daily work right into your comfort zone, the home. That's a thing you need to be able to live with, otherwise it will end in some kind of burn out.
