How to achieve healthy body?

It is true, that calisthenics is really simple to train, but if you want to have some good results, you still need to know few things about how to train.

Your body needs to be taught, not destroyed.


This is very important to remember that every training. Take your time and teach your body how to move properly. Do first few reps of every exercise slowly and be focused on your movement. That is the way how you can achieve your goals much quicker, than if you will train without thinking. That means, it is better to train every day 20-30 minutes, than train two times per week for two hours. Try to listen your body. It will always say to you, if the movement which you are doing is good for it or not.

Choose right intensity of every exercise.


If you choose exercise, which is hard for your body, you are risking to get injured. Choose the exercise, which you can do at least 3 times with good technique. Forget about your ego. Especially on your start, because a lot of people have problem to accept their level. They are thinking that they can do more and they will chose harder version of any exercise. It slow their progress. You need to give your body enough time to adapt to every movement you are doing. That means, it is better to train easier version of the exercise for some time, and if you can do enough reps (8-10) with good technique, than you can move to harder variation.

Spend enough time in your bed.


Getting enough sleep is another very important thing if you just started with training. Sleep is just another part of training. It is very important because while you are sleeping, your body is recovering, resting and charging energy for next day. Do not underestimate it. You will never feel good in your body, if you are sleeping only 5 or 6 hour per night.

Avoid to drinking alcohol.


It is very important to not drink alcohol in the same day when you are training. It is because alcohol is poison for your body. (Btw. that is the reason why you are vomiting if you drink too much. Your body is trying to get rid of the poison every way). When you are doing your training, you exhausting your body and if you are drinking some alcohol after that, your body does not have enough energy to recover, because it spends all energy to fight with the poison. I this case your muscles stay unrecovered and your strength is going down.
Another reason is that alcohol has a lot of calories and people often combine it with some unhealthy junk, which has even more calories, but this is for another article.

Do not compare with anyone, only with yourself.


A lot of people are always comparing themselves with other people. “I am better than him.” Or “I know how to do this exercise better. I am stronger. ETC.” I am sure that you know what I am talking about. It is unhealthy, and bad. You should be the only opponent for yourself. Try to be better than you was yesterday. You should train because of yourself, not because you want to be better than others. If you are not training for yourself, try to think about it. Training should be only tool, which helps you to have healthy and strong body and your body should be only a tool, which helps you to do what you enjoy and have a happy life.

If you will think about those thoughts every training I am sure, that you will be happy and strong man in the future.
