RE: The Stupidity of Borders - An Illegal Alien Steemian In Mexico Gets Kidnapped And A Free Flight To His Tax Farm

f##k the system, be a slave to the system, or play the system. Sometimes I wish I was born into a jungle tribe but even tribes are being pushed out of their homes and being victimised into the system.... Some people just want to be free from the system. All these imaginary divisions, on soil, in religious beliefs, politics and opinions, and it just causes arguments which reinforces these false divisions and ultimately causes wars. I am completely baffled as to why governments never set their main goal as to bring the people into spiritual awakening and higher levels of consciousness, as the world might just be a better place.

'The Social Contract' by Rousseau is pretty close to your comment.

People want divisions. Gated communities. Private beaches, private clubs, that sort of thing. They don't want to say fuck it to these "false" divisions. That's why you don't see anyone who's got money living in a lower-class area and sharing their money. Governments don't care; they exist to make decisions for people who don't want to make decisions for themselves. Going to use Steemit as an example here: If you ask a friend to join they're going to make excuses because being a member of Steemit requires some personal responsibility -- you got to figure it out, have self control while you wait for the acct to be created, dedicate time to posting -- while on Twitter they sign in and the platform tells them who to follow and what to like.
