That's true about Canada. It's very difficult to get a job as new immigrant. People here are very cautious with new comers. Opportunities in developed areas are a tough competition, everything is expensive.
If you are moving the best way would be to immigrate for studies. Be a student, get familiar with the culture and people .It will be lot easier to get a job later on. Otherwise you will have to start from zero and struggle a lot. And sometimes you get stuck and will have to be happy with whatever you get.
And the funny thing is when someone ask 'hows your life abroad?' and we try to explain all this,they just never believe it.
