Amir Khan has had problems in his relationship, not fully aware of what actually happened, all I know is he is looking to divorce his wife, who is the mother of his daughter and an unborn child too. This means his child will be raised without him.

I am not here to judge whether he did the right thing here for himself or not. We don't really know what their relationships like. Maybe Amir Khan cheated and it was his fault for this relationship problems, or maybe his wife Faryal Makhdoom is far from a saint. I certainly have heard negative things about both.

We live in a society that like to talk about relationships, love sex. From songs, to adverts, billboards to movies, love, romance and sex is shown to the audience. Every aspect of a relationship between a man and a woman is talked about and glorified, especially in the west. Yet most of her relationships end up in a train-wreck. Isn't that ironic?

There are probably few reasons for this

People don't understand the meaning of loving someone. Loving someone is compromising, and keeping others happy even when things become rough. Where there is love, there is no love loss during difficult situation; Because lets face it, anyone can love others when things are going great. But truth comes out when things are not so great. Our idea of love is very skewed and it needs to change.

We live in a time where we expect more while doing less. We have technologies that can do a lot of things for us without us doing much. We are spoilt. During difficult times, when a device stops working, back before, people used to try to fix it. Now, its more common for someone to get a new one. Trying to mend something is not in us. We are simply not ready for it. This is exactly how we are in relationships. We have to develop this quality too.

Our choice of partners are not as good as a lot of us think. In our society people look for partners in some of the most horrendous places, such as a CLUB!!!LOL WTFF??? Instead of going for the person who we have any kind of feelings for, how about we develop feelings for the person we should be with?

To attract the right kind of people who understands the meaning of a productive relationship, its important to be a good person yourself, with good qualities, good character, habits and ambitions. Taking crap from your partner without doing anything about it is not a good quality. Ask yourself is he/she fit to be the mother of my children.

If we were more responsible with our relationships we would spare these children who is growing up in broken homes, broken relationships, bad role models as parents, girls looking up to horrendous mothers as role models and boys looking up to their fathers who take no responsibilities. Everyone is wondering why some people today are so messed up. Go figure, upbringing affects people, and upbringing at home is the most important part of it. Bad relationships are the main cause most of the problems in our society.
