Bro,my condition is almost same as yours.I used sertraline.Initially it showed some side effects as you called them zombie like effect.But with the passage of time it becomes very relaxing.
Now I've left it and I also suggest u,not to be dependant upon anti depressants.Try to overcome your emotions.
