Yesterday I did a post on an anonymous delegation to my account. While doing my research on how to find the anonymous delegator and thank him/her, I found this very interesting anonymous guy who made millions in bitcoin and now giving it away to the needy without disclosing his identity. Isn't that amazing? Humanity at its best. I am so proud that there are people like that amongst us.
The anonymous bitcoiner set up a website https://pineapplefund.org/ and offers funds for charities. The Pineapple Fund claims to have distributed just over $6.5 million in Bitcoin between eight charities. Its website provides links to the blockchain transactions under the name of each charity. These transactions are in a public ledger, but the sender and recipient are only identified by a long string of digits. Here are the charities the Fund supported so far:
