A Mid Summer Stroll and Positive Thoughts

While going for a walk today, I couldn't help but think how things have changed. The world is a different place and I have noticed that the things that used to be my typical thoughts while walking have now been replaced by new concerns. To be clear, today's walk was awesome and it felt good to get out of the house.

It felt great to feel the sun on my face and to get out and exercise. Our temperatures have been too hot to walk in the middle of the day, but the evening welcomed lower temperatures and a slight breeze to make walking a brisk pace to be manageable. I cannot believe that I do not take walks like this more often. I know that starting walks can sometimes be a challenge, but I almost always am glad that I finally get up and moving.

While out for my stroll, I did think about Hive and how I can make my posts more personal to share this unique time. I have included some pics for my fellow Hive community. I appreciate the support that the community has shown and I am pleasantly surprised about the content I am seeing in Hive lately. My hope is to add to this great community and to document my life's journey with the Hive community.

The photos in this post were taken at my favorite time to take outdoor pics. The sun begins to set and all pics seem to have a warm tone. The shadows come out to play about this time and make for some interesting photos.
