Humans are predictable creatures. Most of our thinking is done sub consciously. Here are some sub-conscious mind hacks that can help you in social situations:-
Eye contact
When first meeting others, take a moment to note their eye colour. That split second of eye contact will make you seem friendly and confident to them.
Crowds
Whilst navigating yourself through one, just keep your eyes on the gaps of space in between, rather than the people themselves- they will immediately clear a path for you.
Self image
What’s more important to anyone? Find out what someone thinks of themselves and then, depending on what your approach is towards them, challenge and reinforce it.
Silence
It can be your most useful weapon. If someone gives you an unsatisfactory answer, remain quiet. This will pressurize them into revealing more.
Aim for individuals rather than groups
If you ever want something, ask every person individually to yield better effects. If you ask them in a group, something called the “Bystander Effect” will make them unwilling.
Be happy and excited around others
Others respond to social cues- they will begin to reflect back your emotions after a while. Just be sure not to be too obnoxious while you do so.
Observe feet and hands
As strange as it may sound, a person’s feet and hands may actually tell you a lot about them. If they face their feet away from you when you approach them, it means that you’re unwelcome. If others are fidgeting or hiding their hands and feet from your view, it means that they’re uncomfortable.
Pictures
We’re pretty visual beings. If you want to engage an audience, just show be sure to add pictures that illustrate your point.
Great ways to improve yourself. Thanks for sharing!
