Please Help One of Our Veterans in Need - Update 05/28/18

Due to recent events where a person that was in need of eye surgery, a huge effort on the part of many on the Platform regardless of being a Veteran, stepped up and sent in donations to this person. His name is Bobby - @solarparadise. We want to thank everyone that sent in donations to get his eye surgery.

However, he is not an actual Veteran. This was just learned today, and things went a little sideways on his end. And as such, we are taking steps to make sure that our Veterans here on the platform are indeed actual Veterans.

He still is need of the surgery, and when his wife returned the donations (which rarely happens if ever) quite a few people have still stepped up and sent the donations back.

We as a group are taking steps toward more accurate Vetting Procedures to avoid any confusion in the future should the need arise to get help for one of our own. And in the future, any attempts at claiming you are a Veteran and in need of help, you will have to supply a great deal of proof before we take action.

So if you are on the Veterans Trail, and you are getting support from @shadow3scalpel and votes from your brothers and sisters, you better be on the up and up. We are taking steps right now on the Discord Chat, take a minute and go read the updates, then you know will know what you need to do.

Dishonor will not be tolerated from Anyone claiming to be a Veteran.
