So very true, humility is a very undervalued characteristic in today's world and indeed, arrogance really does know no bounds. I also think that humility comes with age (makes me sound very old), but arrogance is generally the domain of the young .
I think that as we grow and have more life experience we gradually and inexorably head towards a state of humility.
And on another note, your photographs are wonderful, my wife is always laughing at me that I am always drawn towards pictures of the sea and especially those showing far away horizons....I should have been a sailor :-)
Have a good and excellent day and thank you again for these timely and thought provoking principles.
Thank you for your lovely reply and kind compliments @scottish01.
Your remarks are certainly true for those who learn from their own mistakes and the mistakes of others as humility is reflected in teachability.
You never know....perhaps you will be given the opportunity to discover whether you really do have sea leg potential.
Appreciate your good wishes and wish the same for you and your family. Cheers.
I agree with the principle!
indeed! indeed! I wonder what this is about though :D
did you spend the weekend at the beach Mon Ami?
lucky you to ever be so near the sea!
I want to take a plunge even though its cold now it looks very very peaceful on those lovely photos!

Always appreciate you dropping by for a chat mon ami.... ^_^
bleujay enjoys the opportunity to bring to Steemit sights such as these.....who could say no...to the siren song of sparkling water and the sea's playful call....bleujay is sure it called for @englishtchrivy.....smiles....
