mind is the medium
to grasp and absorb it all
Beauty is different for each person
one may see lines and one may see chaos
one may notice the trash around and another might not be bothered to see it at all

it all depends on one's attitude. If you take a disinterested person to the Eiffel Tower, he might not appreciate the beauty of it. Instead, he or she might look around and remark on how bad the weather is or how crowded it is, and so on.

It takes maturity to see beyond the ordinary and appreciate the efforts put in by others. No matter, how well-kept a place is, there is bound to be some sort of problem, especially for them, who are self-proclaimed perfectionists. Then, some voice their disinterests and their open hatred toward those whom they do not like but instead of openly criticizing the people, they blame the situation or the place. It is the attitude that has to change and not the person. So, if you come across such people while visiting a tourist spot or other such situations, it is best to avoid the company instead of heading into an argument. It is best to appreciate the beauty of the moment rather than wasting time on such people.

Is it so difficult to look outside of yourself and to forget the ego for a few moments and appreciate the surroundings? Is it so difficult to greet another beating with a smile? Is it so difficult to feel happy for another when they are victorious? Is it so difficult to forgive the small mistakes of others in your family? Is it so difficult to acknowledge that someone else is better at it than you?

The above reveals a lot about some personalities who are selfish by nature and like the drop of ink in a glass of milk, they can pollute others too. So, choose your company wisely and let go of such people because they will not allow you to reach great heights.

It is not difficult to be victorious if you have the right people around but it is very difficult if you have people who are constantly putting you down no matter what you do. Always remember that you matter most and you should never let go of your good values and never feel insecure or feel like an underachiever because you should remove or strive to remove the hurdles yourself and not depend on others.

We cannot choose our parents or family as they say but we can certainly move away from people who are not worthy of our presence. Life will always be difficult and no matter where you go, there will be both positive and negative people around you. You have to choose whether you want the diamond or the pebble.
