I don't think there a place of everlasting bliss though, your evolution continues on 'the other side' (let's call it like that for the moment). 'The Great mother' as you mention it also appears in other religions and beliefs such as hindiusm and christianity. In the end we all talk about the same thing: Semi-devas, devas, angels and finally God. He's not alone, he's not ruling it by himself. He has 'the ones to help him'. All the best.
