Understanding butterflies for us are very familiar. Butterflies are colorful insects with large triangular wings. Butterflies belong to an order or a large group of insects called Lepidoptera. The scientific name of the butterfly group comes from small scales that fill its wings. The word Lepidoptera comes from two Greek words lepis meaning "scales" and pteron which means "wings". These scales are very soft, so easy to fall out when the butterfly wings held haphazardly by human hands
