I believe that what YOU write is fundamentally steered by what your social mission is, or lack of social mission. Some people are here purely to make money or to boost their social media presence, or creativity.
That is great, I'm not saying that's wrong at all.....BUT...
If we all have a social mission wouldn't this place be amazing? Ego's, profits and politics are going to feature on the route to steemit success but if we strive to hit that happy social place, then it will be worth it.
My social mission is not for ego (although I like compliments) but to support people to write. Particuarly those that are dyslexic, have learning difficulties or have got an issue with grammar. (EDITED: I failed to also mention in unedited draft people who struggle with the english language! Thankyou @allfabeta for reminding me! ) That is my passion and to develop social enterprise, by people engaging in projects that support people who need it.
I want to earn money...yes...and I want to make a big social difference.
So do have you a social Steemit mission and if so...what is it?
Yes I have :
That's all for now.
Whichever way my NGO Aims at helping the needy, such as the malnourished, physically challenged ,and the displaced person's around the globe.
Thank you
Oh, way back when (sooooooo long ago, lol) when I first started on Steemit, I had this grand idea that I could resurrect interest in good, quality poetry writing - and an interest in more people reading poetry. Well, I'm still trying - sort of - to accomplish that. I fear that I've been flogging a dead horse, but will persevere as best I can.
Stay persistent. I agree we need to encourage others to write in what ever style the choose. I for one am taking time to go through the categories and read what people are doing.
Thanks so much, I appreciate your comment.
and you certainly should talented lady! Lets get you noticed. The tortoise wins the race remember
Awww, thank you!
Also, you forgot to mention a language problem on steemit. A lot of Steemit users don't know English at all.
Yes of course. Absolutely!
My Social Mission is to write what I'm feeling at the moment (mostly about life, etc). I love the "mission" of community that I am finding for myself here in Steemit. There are so many wonderful categories to choose from as well as some incredible writers. I am slowly finding my groove. Thanks for asking
Good for you. I wish you all the luck on this wonderful platform.
I joined Steemit with the same reason I joined Facebook or Instagram. I like to meet new people, have some amazing conversation, get to know various places etc. And the best part is we get paid for that.
Brilliant.....
