Hello Everybody! Today I'm going to teach you how to detox your lungs and body from nicotine and things that you can do in order to kill the addiction.
We all know that quitting smoking is not the easiest thing in the world!

Tobacco smoke contains a deadly mix of more than 7,000 chemicals; hundreds are harmful, and about 70 can cause cancer. Smoking increases the risk for serious health problems, many diseases, and death. – Centers for Disease Control and Prevention>

Nicotine in any form is a highly addictive. More people are addicted to nicotine than any other drug, which may be as addictive as heroin, alcohol, or cocaine. Weight gain, and stress are the main reasons people smoke in the first place.

Some people that smoke or use chewing tobacco find it easier to quit than others, but anyone can stop using nicotine if they have a proper advice and guidance. Nobody should be disillusioned: not smoking is difficult, and often requires more than one attempt. But it's not impossible!

Nicotine is also entirely feasible to detoxify the substance naturally, which I will be focusing on this content.

1. DRINK A LOT OF WATER. A LOT.


Consuming at least a half-gallon of water every day is not only effective at flushing toxins, but it also provides the necessary energy to quit. Bring the bottle with you wherever you go, and you’ll naturally find yourself reaching for some water.

2.EXERCISE.


Get your body moving. Do something, anything for at least 30 minutes a day that requires some physical exertion. Exercise, of course, causes the body to sweat which expeditiously detoxifies the body. Some people are addicted to exercising, because it releases endorphins, maybe this is the kind of addiction you are looking for? After all smoking just brings you down....

3. CHANGE YOUR DIET.


A diet rich in fruits and vegetables can help the body naturally rid itself of nicotine’s toxins.

Broccoli and spinach are both “superfoods” (nutrient-dense foods) high in folic acid, and vitamins C and B5. They strengthen the immune system, aiding in the detoxification process.

4. PRACTICE MINDFULNESS.


Acknowledge the thought craving, but don’t interact or overthink it. These feelings will fade, and your body will continue to detoxify and heal itself naturally.

5.KEEP YOUR MIND OCCUPIED.

The thing is, you'll need something to keep your mind busy as the craving kicks in, and remember you are not the one who wants to smoke but the addiction (nicotine) is talking, the one you are trying to get rid of! Not you!
