Self-esteem is the feeling that one has about herself. In other words, it is the confidence that one has in her own self. This confidence is essential to help us live our life normally. Its degree varies from time-to-time. Sometimes, self-esteem is high and at other times, it is normal or below normal. If self-esteem is constantly low, one should consider seeking counseling. Before handling self-esteem issues, it is important to know the causes of a low self-esteem. Low self-esteem is a result of abusive past, professional worries, relationship problems, bullying, peer pressure, and poor academic performance. Once the primary cause is identified, a holistic approach should be adopted to tackle the problem.

1- Self-love through positive outlook

If you continue revealing to yourself you're no great, you may very well begin trusting it, despite the fact that it's not valid. However, if you see that you frequently take part in negative self-talk, look at some ways you can challenge your negative reasoning and fabricate your certainty levels.

Small things need as much appreciation as big things are celebrated. Growing your hair strong and thick can make you happy and thus, confident about yourself.

9- Be Compassionate and Helpful

Being of assistance to somebody is an extraordinary method to help their disposition, yet you may likewise find that you feel better about yourself after you accomplish something especially incredible for another person.

10- Be around Supportive People

Try not to stay nearby individuals who cut you down. Discover individuals who influence you to like yourself and maintain a strategic distance from the individuals who tend to trigger your negative reasoning.
