Personally I think Steem is dependant on the success of bitcoin, part of my post involves showing users how to earn free bitcoin which they could convert back into steem if they wanted too :)

I'm not involved with Bittrefil but have enjoyed testing the service and rate them highly, anything that helps to spread bitcoin adoption is good for the eco system as a whole IMHO.

You can also write some articles on the sites that I'm testing so might be another outlet for you.
