Wow, this is great. I never knew where the expression "sour grapes" came from, but probably has something to do with this fable. I agree that definitely when you rise above the crowd, there are always those that want to take pot shots at you or try to drag you down to their level. It's human nature to compete and to be jealous of those that surpass us even though it would be nice to take the high road and be happy for those who excel - especially since "Success is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration" as I believe was said by Albert Einstein.
