Planting Became a Hobby during Pandemic

During this pandemic, many have found a new hobby since they just stayed in their home most of the time. Others are into cooking, sewing, gardening, blogging and other activities that could ease their boredom. Others are into online gaming too.

In my case, I choose to plant different fruit trees. I like the idea that when they grow and bear fruits I wouldn't be buying these fruits anymore I will just be picking from our own backyard. I planted the seeds I got from the fruits I bought from the market. I tried to spread them at our backyard. Right now, I was able to grow mango, avocado and papayas. Hope to increase more so I would be able to save some amount when these will bear fruits. I will not be buying these fruits anymore because we have our own produce and if these will bear more fruits then I can even sell them.

It is so satisfying to see the seeds you planted grow into a young plant. Watering them everyday is very fulfilling. Seeing them with growing more leaves and having more branches would somehow ease the boredom. It gives a different kind of satisfaction. It makes me want to grow more trees if only we have a big backyard.

This is one of the activities I fondly do during this pandemic. Hopefully I can sustain even if there is no more pandemic. I found it satisfying and fulfilling.
