A sad reality, many people do that maybe for the reason you tell (more often than not they just don't care). But there is a verse in the Bible that describe to those "people" how not to act "Don't be like the hypocrite".

Well yes but how to do expose the immorality if they think they are doing everything just fine and the criticism often doesn't seem to get through to people?
