Learn about us "ROSO DE VIAJE"

in #life6 years ago (edited)

Hi! we’re Romher and Soley, a couple from Venezuela , specifically from Caracas, the capital of the country. We met while we were studying Systems Engineering in College. Since then we’ve been friends, companions and "partners in crime" for 7 years full of learning and wonderful experiences.

The idea of taking our first steps in this social network is for people from all over the world get to know our story and, above all, be a part of it. Yes, you guys are part of our story everytime you comment our publications and/or share them with your friends or acquaintances.

Our story begun when we’d decided to share our passion for traveling and the desire to ride a motorcycle around our country, Venezuela. We love to travel in all type of transportation, but most of our trips have been done by motorcycle. A Chinese motorcycle of 200cc.

In our motorcycle we have traveled many kilometers full of beautiful landscapes, which have taught us to respect every road, the nature and has allowed us to know what our motorcycle can do to allow happening those adventures that make us feel happy and free.

That’s why at the beginning of this year we took one of the most important decisions of our lives, emigrate from Venezuela to southern lands, seeking improvements for our quality of life, and with it, the possibility of helping our families. But the most important thing is to fulfill a dream that we share as a couple, travel through South America on a motorcycle.

So we’ve begun to plan a big journey, full of many miles of hope across 8 countries, 8 cultures and a lot of experiences to learn from, with our entire lives in one bag and our most faithful companion, "La Negra" (the motorcycle).

But with the planing, came fears and questions to our heads. We started thinking about things like How much money do we need? What do we need to bring with us? What are we going to eat? Where are we going to sleep? How much time is the trip going to last? Where are we going to stay once we get there?

And, this are some of the answers to those questions so far…

Our intention is to take a tour from Venezuela, go through Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile, which is our final destination, all this implies an approximate distance of 10.000Km

Time

We estimate that the trip is going to take about 1 month, starting in Venezuela in August of 2018.One month seems very little, but due to the immigration policies of Chile, which gives us a visa in Venezuela, it indicates that we have 30 days maximum to be able to enter the country.

Where are we going to sleep?

Well, mainly in a tent, we'll also try to use the travel community call "couchsurfing", and sometimes we’ll have to pay for lodging, all this until we arrive to Chile.

So, that’s how the “ROSO DE VIAJE” project begins, with a fun and adventurous couple that shares their dreams with one another, and wants to share them with all those people who are passionate travelers and adventurers as well. We’ll share travel tips, experiences, photographs, and our dreams, hoping that more people dare to achieve their dreams of traveling through South America or the rest of the world.

Fulfilling this dream would be incredible if we count with your support. You can follow us on Instagram @rosodeviaje where we'll publish everything about our journey,

Leave your comments or recommendations, we'll be waiting!

  2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
  3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
  4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
