In this video I'm going to talk about blogging vs curating content on Steemit. In my experience blogging has made me way more in rewards then curating content.

This site is a bit confusing at first but thank you for the video!

Blogging and commenting are much better on here. But, the best thing to do is buy some steem and have some skin in the game! That always helps!

Buying Steem and powering up is never a bad idea ;)

Thanks for the tip!

I hear you, its very confusing but don't worry with time you will get the hang of it.

Thank you! :)

Great explanation! In addition to that: If you use dTube/dLive etc. as an author your reward split will be splitted again in 50/50 to you and the service like dTube for example

Thanks for sharing!

Didn't know that, thanks for the tip friend :)

For sure. The only extra bit to consider is the weird time windows for curation rewards (first 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or after) and how that affects rewards. Some whales have curation trails that alert their followers to upcoming upvotes, so the minnows can know that a large upvote is coming later, helps them get more rewards. But's that's really treating all this like a game...which...meh. It's a crap game. lol

I know lots of people say commenting is a good way to get started as well, get noticed, get some upvotes, etc. Might be an interesting topic to look into the future.

Blogging will obviously pay more. A 75% payout to you alone, isn't the same as one where you share 25% with others.

I'd recommend using curation rewards to boost up your steem power. And using blog posts to generate some income.

Hummn, I think I picked somethings to learn from your post. Thanks for sharing

I agree but people with large channels can ccan make quite a larger income with them just liking posts

This is true, however in order to get to that point you need to have A LOT of steem :P. Maybe we will all get there though one day.

I hope so too :)
If Steemit will go extremely viral in few years and we are one of the first creators well, the future is bright :D

thank you Robin!

No problem, :)

Exactly so get out there and get your voice heard guys!

Couldn't have said it better myself!

thanks for such a great helping video

Truer than most people would like to admit

Really useful information for someone starting like me. It's been a challenge getting used to everything, but this helps clear up a few things. Excited to move forward!

Thanks, I started blogging more than commenting and now have found I do more commenting than posting to my blog. Need to switch that back around again I guess. Then again, Im not really here for the money.

I found you from here.

Yeah I totally noticed this recently. The stakes are higher when you blog, thus it makes sense. Thanks for the clarity..

hi, I'm very new to Steemit and Dtube, already post my videos about Cryptocurrency content in my country, philippines. never the least, i'm still hoping people in steem community will notice me. you inspire me to continue making videos.

There is no money to be made on curation.
