Like the great Bob Dylan said: “The Times they are a changing”. And Music, among other Arts is just one of many things that have changed in the past decades.
Today, we’re beginning to talk about decentralize everything: I think music already is…
This art form can be subdivided in so many genres and sub-genres that have popped out during the last decades that we cannot classify a music group into belonging to rock, pop or classic music.
And with this occurrence, the public spread their attention from main groups to A LOT of smaller groups that fill niches of tastes.
So… Is music decentralized already?

Epale, pana.
Hey, mate.
Just these days I was talking to my girlfriend @mariamsinn about something similar.
I talked to her about the musical quality over the years, through the genres.
"It's so complex to appreciate all kinds of musical genre" I said, (or at least, something quite similar) referring to the jazz of Louis Armstrong and perhaps more contemporary issues like Snarky Puppy, relating them to the work of Franco de Vita , giving her to know that both things, are somehow in their individuality very different musical paths, but in each of them there is a great degree of difficulty and appreciation of "the beautiful", depending on the person who listens.
For that reason we have proposed a project in which determined by gender (create a portfolio of all genres is a GREAT job) we get to analyze theoretical elements of music in each of them, such as harmony, rhythms and elements of improvisation (very important) and this way, identify the artistic intentions of each gender, and if they have social and behavioral relationships, through the artist, the listeners and his gender.
I hope to have explained myself well, and if you have any questions or if you'd like to deepen the subject, please write me. Peace!
