Hi folks - I'm a professional resume writer /interview coach - to share some insight, the questions that include "can you give an example of" or "Tell me about a time when you.....", those are called 'behavioral interview questions' (sometimes called structural interviews) - they ask the applicant to "prove" their skills with a story. This is a smart interviewing strategy, because it's one thing for an applicant to say, "Ya, I can do that, here are my skills". But it's MUCH more convincing to SHOW how you actually did those things in the past by sharing an example. (it's basically a 'BS'-er filter technique :) ) Hope that helps some!
