Yesterday I spent the day away from Steemit so that I could live the Dadlife as I call it. I don't get to spend as much time with my family as I would like......as I'm sure is the case for most of you as well. So I would like to share with ya'll our day yesterday...at least from a dad's perspective. We drove over to Mimi's house to enjoy some time in the pool and some hamburgers on the grill. While we were splashing around in the pool and enjoying the normal pool shenanigans some mermaids were spotted.

At first I could not believe my eyes......
but after a few minutes I was able to get close enough to a group of them that I actually got a selfie....
I blew them a kiss and we got out of the pool because the afternoon Florida thunderstorms were beginning to arrive
