Hey Mark,

Thanks for the shout-out.

I upvote you because I like your work, and found you when you were commenting a lot on some Filipinos blogs.

I may not read every one of your posts, but do try my best to keep up with as many as possible.

Yeah, I found a book my mother had on her father in WWII. It chronicled day by day where my grandfather's division fought and it had a lot on the Philippines. I became interested and started watching a lot of videos on Youtube about the PH. I found many American expats that did Vlogs and started watching those. I now have two friends that have married Filipinas. I found out that Filipinas like American men, I guess you also found that out. I then realized that on just about every TV show like Survivor or The Bachelor the women that I thought were the most beautiful always turned out to be half Filipino. So, I hope one day to travel to the PH and see where my Grandfather fought in the war. If I happen to also meet a beautiful Filipina even better! Maybe sometime I can talk to you about all this. Let me know if you ever get to the USA. Maybe we could meet up or at least talk on the phone. Thanks, Mark

Hey Mark,

America has always been a close friend to the Philippines, and vice versa. Although I love a lot about living there, going on 6 years now is a bit long for me to stay rooted.

Me and Gilaine will be moving to South America in the next year, giving her an opportunity to see the world as I have.

Now, I am in Spain, then going to visit USA for Thanksgiving, A few days in California, and back to Cebu.

That's cool to hear about your Grandfather's service in WWII. He must have enlisted at a young age.

You can email me anytime, rtc926@gmail.com if you have any questions about the Philippines.

Sorry for delayed reply, have been offline a bit.

Ok thanks Rob. That will be great for Gilaine. What part of CA will yo be in?

Santa Clara for the blockchain expo.

Cool that should be fun! I love that area of CA. My brother went to Santa Clara University. Have a great time.
