Cancer can start any place in the body. It starts when cells grow out of control and crowd out normal cells. This makes it hard for the body to work the way it should.
Cancer can be treated very well for many people. In fact, more people than ever before lead full lives after cancer treatment.

This is an interesting topic you have wrote about, however, a worrying one too. My husband back in September was diagnosed with bowel cancer, of which he never had a clue he had. It was a shock to hear because all his home screening tests for bowel cancer came back clear. Nevertheless, he is on the mend now after a seven hour operation to move a cancerous growth along with a hernia, of which also he didn't know he had... so a sort of double whammy if you like..
