There was a particular one who was a Customs officer and because he could get for himself seized properties, he became a demi-god. He would molest his family members, helpless elders and virtually anyone else he sees as being less than himself.
Last I heard of him, he is retired with nothing to show, has nothing of his own, his children deserted him and he now works as the leader of the local council enforcers in the same village he reigned supreme.
