Not really...I moved around the country after childhood, striking out on my own at 17 years old. I live over 2000 miles from where I grew up. Over the years when I would see a childhood friend they expected me to be the same person, but a changed dramatically over the years. They could not handle or accept the change.
In adult hood it has been different. I recently spoke with a friend and his wife who I had lost touch with for over 10 years, and we picked up where we left off...That is true friendship. Accepting changes in each other as we grow
