Great post. But I disagree. There is more opportunity than ever for a young mind to capitalize on in today's modern economy. Cryptos seem to be today's .com bubble. You can't have a bubble if prices aren't rapidly rising. In other words people making a lot of money, fast. A.i and cyber security are the most promising for a long term gig. Can you still support a family on a high school diploma? Probably not. Today anyone can educate themselves out of their grief. Silicon Valley has opened up a huge lane for the young and socially conscious. The world is changing, public schools need to change with it. I believe the public school system is where our problem lies.
