That's incredible that they are known to protect other animals against orcas! I've seen one off the coast of Hawaii, they are amazing and gigantic creatures!

It is quite the role they have, as an almost Guardian of the seas. I have been lucky enough to see them do it once to a pod of orca that were hunting a steller sea lion.
