Just like many others when I just came here ( A year ago) I could not believe that this would really work and that I could turn my steempower and steemdollars into real money and buy things with it!
I waited some time to powerdown and transfer my steem to Bitrex. There I sold the steem for bitcoin and had to figure out how I could use my bitcoin! Thanks to a tip from a friend I made a virtual Visa ( Credit) Card by Wirex and brought my bitcoin there and with one simple click it turned from bitcoin into the Euro I need to pay for things!
IT REALLY WORKS and here are a few items I bought the last few weeks!
^^A nice sloggi watch! :D The whole set is one!
^^ A water boiler with blue light! Now when I want some tea in the evening I wait till its dark just to see the nice blue light making me feel like I am in a starwars kitchen! :D
^^ A black gothic rose ring!
^^ A hand vacuum to do some extra cleaning!
^^A nice sparkly bracelet! I have to stay here a while longer to be able to buy a real diamond one but for now this fake thingy will do the trick and make me smile from ear to ear!
So, if you are new around here know that when you really want to you can turn the virtual money to real! Keep working and who knows what you can buy really soon!

I sold my steem like I said in my post for Bitcoin and sold the bitcoin for Euros on my creditcard!

I did not pay it with Steem itself but after I turned the steem into bitcoin and Euro! But yes, it really works!

Still not sure myself about getting a prepayd bitcoin creditcard... Yet I read possitive feedback about Wirex.
So far all I can say is that they work fast and i can use it like a normal Visa card. You can also get a real card but for now I am happy with just the virtual one. I am sure there will be better options but this one came highly recomended by a friend of mine.
Forgot about the virtuall one, that could be handy online.
Will have a better look into it again.
So far for me it works great. I also order food with it through thuisbezorgt.nl
Did pay at thuisbezorgd with BTC once. Fun to do. :-)

Those are some nice things. Cool water boiler. I think I should order a card like that. It seems like an easy way. I once bought a laptop with steem money, returned it because it had some problems. And gave the money as a wedding present. Ended up with no money and no laptop :))
