Causes

Usually, insomnia occurs because of stress or strong emotional stress. Sometimes it is caused by medication. The most often disturbing people who, for various reasons, lead an "unsystematic" way of life: changes in the rest time, which is related to work on shifts or the transition from summer time to winter and back. In rare cases, insomnia is a symptom of another disease (depression or hypertension).

What to do?

It is important not to wait until the problem disappears by itself: the longer the violation lasts, the more difficult it is to cure it. To begin with, try to take care of the hygiene of sleep. During the day, try to get tired physically - an hour of walking or more dynamic movement is perfect. The last meal should be two hours before bedtime. Clean your bedroom and air it. It should be a place without a TV, computer and phone. Remove from the room all sources of noise. Before you go to bed, try to calm down and relax.Leave behind the door of the bedroom all doubts, problems and quarrels. This can be facilitated by a relaxing bath or melissa tea. If all this does not help, you need to see a doctor.

Insomnia

If the cause of insomnia is a change of time, try to move to a new schedule gradually. If you woke up in the middle of the night, try reading a boring book. Sometimes sleep disturbances are due to a lack of magnesium, calcium and vitamin B6. Try to fill their deficit.
