'Vegas', that's what we called our WhatsApp group. We made a plan to go to Vegas when we'd pass out from college. We were 12 back then. Our little wolf pack! Haha. I was the underachiever when it came to all of us. One of us was the smartest when it came to softwares and coding(he was known as the techie of the group), while one of them's father owned a giant restaurant chain. Two of them always loved films but only one of them followed his passion while the other decided to get into civil engineering. The last one had an idea to start this chain of aerated drinks. He was pretty fond of them, haha! But none of them were fond of meeting after college. Eventually we all went to Vegas but never together.
Today is a funny day. I live in an apartment which was designed by the civil engineer, ordered food from the application designed by the techie where he rated our friend's food chain 2/5( I still ordered from my friend's food chain), am sipping the latest beverage under the name of my friend's company and I'm watching the last one act in the film coming on TV.
None of them had the time to pick up my call today yet I'm still with them. It doesn't bother me that they weren't here with me at this crucial moment ; what bothers me is whether they'll even know that the 5th member of Vegas is dying. It doesn't feel like I'm an underachiever, it just feels like I'm not important anymore.
That's sad to hear... Maybe there's still a chance for you to meet again? They must answer the call at some point, right? Sadly, something similar's happening to my friends but I keep pressing on them to gather on our little meetups. We're still very young and none of us made a career yet so I guess it's easier. I've still lost one group of friends and can't break the wall that grew with all those years but one thing I know for sure - I don't want this to happen ever again. That's what I also wish for You man.
It's a story, mate...I'm not really dying habah
XD nice story then. Sorry, I'm new here :p
It's alright. We'll help each other out
It's a compliment I guess :D Means Your writing is convincing :p
