I've been journaling every single day for the past 8 years but instead of writing pages of text I'm using a year planner with only 2-3 rows of space for each day so I can note down only one or two of the most important things/thoughts of the day. This way I can see what I was focusing on at a certain moment and how I have progressed on the things that get me running around. I believe the key to consistency is keeping it short.
