Today, I bring to you profound truth. It is that happiness doesn't cost anything. There are certain things in life you can't have if you don't have money. These things are luxuries of life. I'm referring to cars, landed properties, stocks and the likes {yacht, island). Owning these things require you to have a good supply of money before they can be enjoyed. However, happiness doesn't come with a price tag. Happiness is a feeling that is inborn. It's not from external influence but a state of the heart. That's why you can see a poor man who has just the small land he cultivates and maybe the thatch house he lives in and he's still very happy. Happiness comes from a feeling of satisfaction and contentment. What we have these days are people who are not contented. The reason why we have so many mishaps, acts of violence in our environment today is because people and not contented with what they have. That plus the fact that they don't have faith in their future. The reason why a man carries a gun to rob his neighbours is because he's not contented with what he has and he doesn't have faith in his future. In each and everyone of us lies potentials. There's now man God created that he didn't put deposits of potentials. What sets the disparity, the difference between one man and another is not nursing the potentials that God has placed in him or her. When you have foresight into your future and you work towards it, it becomes easy for you to be happy. Listen, the reason why people give up and cast restraint is because they loss sight of their vision. Vision determines destiny. Decide today what you want for yourself. Do you want to be happy? Decide to be thankful and grateful for what you have while driving on to reach greater heights. The heights reached and kept by great men did not come by mistake but they while men slept were working onwards into the night. And there's no one who CANNOT attain to greater heights. The sky is wide enough for all birds fly even if they number in the millions. There's enough space for you and me. No one is occupying your position. We just haven't gotten there yet. So make it a point of duty from today that you will be happy, that you will cultivate the potential that God has placed in you, and see your life become more peaceful and full of happiness.
