You heard me right, SteemIt! The importance of tracking your money and being thankful for your bills has shifted my life!
Quick Tip #1: Track your money
Sometime's this can be a scary topic or task, but it is SO important to be comfortable with your money, if you have $5 in the account or $5000. I have a challenge for you. Take a piece of paper in your journal and start from your main money area (bank account or wallet, if you like cash).
Note down how much money you have in each account. Then, how much cash you have. Then, money you may have stored somewhere. I guarantee you will be surprised to see just how much money you ALREADY have. Then, track your expenses. Your monthly expenses, and write them down. Do this in order to have an idea of what you normally spend per month. Once you have these amounts it will give you clarity and a sense of peace as to how much money you have. It will motivate you to just create even more!!!
Do this every week or more. Make it fun. Light a candle, have a drink, play your favorite song. But make this a ritual and ENJOY tracking your money.
Quick Tip #2: Be grateful for your bills
During this exercise, you may realize that you have a lot of bills to pay. Or that you don't have a lot. But, what does it matter? Bills are AMAZING. Why? Because this bill is just a written confirmation that you received some sort of service. Your mortgage bill is just a friendly reminder that you have a roof over your head. Or your water bill is reminding you how lucky you are to have running water. Or your coffee bill is reminding you that you enjoyed a nice cappuccino to indulge in yourself and have a nice chat with someone.
Whatever it is, your bills are just a reminder that you received a service, so be THANKFUL for that service and the bill. It's an investment in yourself and the quality of your life.
That's all I have for you SteemIt, stay grateful!!
Xoxo
Thank you for trying to help people with this post. I do this already and my relationship with money has improved tremendously. Even if it looks like a simple post about accounting it is an integral part of inner peace. Money is like energy, it's good to observe its flow. Namaste
