Continue From "Sometimes Can Be Wrong....."

After I buy the bike, the next morning I have very difficult to start the bike until very angry and give up.

I call the previous owner about the problem, so he told me to send his regular bike shop to adjust the carburettor setting for me. I arrange the tow truck to send the bike shop. At the evening, I visit to the repair shop and follow up with the issue.

I call my friend to send me to the bike shop to collect the bike from the bike shop. He willingly help me to go with me to the bike shop.

The mechanic explain me about the setting and advise me how to ride the bike aggressively. After I receive back the bike, I ride back home. The bike run normally in order and I enjoy riding with the scrambler back to home.

The mechanic remind me to off the fuel after I ride because it can overflow to the sparkplug and will be difficult to start at the morning. I brought some spare spark plug for stand by and start to learn how to repair carburettor and change setting for my bike to suit with my riding style. For a few day I face the same problem and I change the spark plug and start the engine and start my bike.

In my heart I become want to throw away the bike. And also I call my friend bike shop and repair the problem. But the mechanic start to tell other story and add other issue and ask me to change alternator. At the time I cannot argue and he already remove from my bike and said already he replace with the new parts.

I feel very angry and I talk to my friend that why his mechanic change un-necessary item and now I need to bear the cost.

I told him to monitor his mechanic for long run for hid business and warn him he may lose his costumers. And I said to him that it was carburettor setting for jetting and need to replace the all the parts for carburettor and need to re-set. He told me that wait and see for the result and I said I can prove my diose is correct after 2 days without riding and start the bike.

I did not bring back the bike and I let them observe my bike. It is true enough that they cannot star the bike after two days. They come out with solution and suggest me to change new carburettor from the third party product. I told my friend that I can do it myself for this issue without his help. I told him that I am disappointed with his so call mechanic skill.

So I changed new spark plug by myself front of them and start my bike and show them off. The mechanic was scolded from my boss and came and talk to me and said sorry to me. I told him that as mechanic, we cannot any how change every parts and try to get the job done. We need to analyse and troubleshoot to find out the roots of the cause. And we all need to respect all our clients if even they do not have any knowledge for the products.

He asked me that how know that carburettor is faulty, so I answer I do repair this bike before his hand and I don’t have enough time and place to do setting for my bike.

Because I cannot bring my bike to my company work shop to repair due to my company policy. Then he found out that, I am also from mechanic back ground and from there on wards he treated me differently.

I do not know he did learn or not, but I learn my big mistake and I become cannot trust anyhow on every one. Because I need to bear the cost. Especially motorcycle mechanic and the repair shop for the repairing and troubleshooting. Unless they repair for long time experiences.
