RE: Lessons from Nature ~ The Dolphin

in #life7 years ago

I've met wild Dolphins and they truly are people in the fullest sense.. when people talk of mermaids, it's Dolphins that come to mind.. I waved at a wild Dolphin and it waved back ! They were as keen to make eye contact as we were and the young ones, showing off by swimming on their backs, were gently chastised by the older male, who wishing to protect his family, gently rolled it over.. That experience is to me proof they are as intelligent as we are and on that basis the oceans should be properly protected so that they can live in peace and prosperity. All members of Whale family are very similar to us.

here's the two large male scouts coming to check us out before bringing the family over with babies and juvenilles. A level of trust we perhaps don't collectively deserve.. perhaps they just knew we were ok. I think they did !

following you Dolphin person

Sort:

I have often said that I sometimes see more humanity in animals than I do in humans, and in dolphins especially in cases such as your amazing encounter it prooves true!

you are very blessed to have had such a stunning encounter!!

Thank you for sharing your experience!
AND AGAIN

WOW

when people talk of mermaids, it's Dolphins that come to mind

They are very intriguing creatures.

people definitely the closest to people I've met, perhaps apart from an Elephant. Cats & dogs, parrots and crows all come close second along with the Great Apes; Orangutan, Gorilla, Bonobo, Chimp (all the monkeys) and preying mantids. don't forget manatees bees and Wrass !
