How I Met Psytrance Music During My Time Abroad

Well the first ever time I listened to a Trance song is subject to my early high school years. Then the first different type of genre related to trance I experienced to listen to was Infected Mushroom. I still have so much respect to them though I do not listen to them often anymore. These guys are genius. By the time I was listening deejays like Armin Van Buuren, Yahel etc I really did listen to other types of genres or god knows if we can call em genres at all, Such as Edm, Pop etc

I like to discover new music, artists and songs. But for a few years I really slowed down and almost stopped to try finding new music and waiting for coincidencely encountering something new. Especially the first years of university, third year I was listening to EDM music again but I always had a taste in music like I enjoyed very different and hidden genres that are not easy for other people to like or even find.

So anyways, as my travelling and living abroad journeys started I started to listen to progressive techno and in the very beginning of 2016 I kind of upgraded it to Psytrance. Some of the people I got to hang out they were passionate about Psytrance and I’ve been invited to a party with them so the first ever time I went it was the time I felt like you can’t really keep up with this music longer than 5 mins if you are sober haha. Once you experience that music on psychedelics, it makes you even start understanding it. Starts making sense etc. so it was the same party in a boat, downstairs which made us simply partying underwater.. Day by day party by party I started to like it even more, and became able to listen to it even when I wake up in the morning without getting bored or tired. I am sure at the first ever time people listen to it, they would say, what the hell is that? But just don’t stop immediately, keep on listening, I’m sure some will start to like it:)

It was all in Portugal for me at the beginning, events festivals and stuff, then I once found myself in a Silent Disco listening to Psytrance on beach in Malta. Was a suuuuupper good memory which i could not really forget :)
