WHERE DOES SATISFACTION LIES?
The question of satisfaction is ambiguous, I had thoughts today and I wanna share my thoughts with you. They may be my opinion to you, however, I am expressing a deep conviction haven experienced the burden that beguiled me several junction of my life’s bus-stop.
This is the first question I want to ask so that you ponder in deep thought about it.
WHERE DOES SATISFACTION LIES?
Many; dead and alive, have attempted to find satisfaction. Some had gone extra miles in search of satisfaction, some had chased fame, drugs, and others wealth just to find satisfaction, but somehow it’s only a hope that eludes many. People died in this quest and yet never got to the threshold where they can confess that; “I have found Satisfaction”.
Beyond philosophy there is a point you can get that you discover something or you probably realize that you are so content, so accomplished, you cease any form of worry or anxiety, you have no urgency to satisfy any man, set any goal for yourself because you have this feeling that all is good, all is in the perfect place, your needs are met, you are not under any sort of pressure and you are totally at peace within yourself. That is the point you could say you are satisfied. This suggest another question;
IS THERE A POINT OF REALITY YOU BECOME SATISFIED?
This question I don’t know what your answer will be, but I will take your thoughts through a quest to find an answer, then I will suggest an answer and let you have a conclusion to your own answer. First, can you recall yourself as a child, you had wants and needs? At the time of that want or need, you demanded, asked and sometimes cried for your parents to meet that needs of yours, if they delayed you protested and sometimes rebelled just to have that attention and desire met. Do you also realize as soon as that need or whatever you demanded for is granted to you, in that moment is looks like you were satisfied but after a while that feeling of satisfaction fades away as your soul begins to quest for something else.
At adolescence, your emotional personality begins to have a craving heightened by the secretion of your hormones, that you want to love or feel loved, you see a potential in every young man or girl you may find along your way to be that person that you will give your love to, sometimes the feeling could become so intense that you feel like if you don’t get the opposite sex who could gratify your needs, you may completely feel unsatisfied that it may affect you psychologically. However, as soon as you make out with one person and probably indulge in sex, instead of being satisfied, you open up another door for a whole more desire of being continuously unsatisfied. The danger is you begin to see a personality that loses control or lacks control in controlling self as with respect to having just a partner.
At another stage of your life you are eager to go to college, get learned and become a professional in whatever field or discipline you may so choose, you set goals; you may even want to break records just to fulfill that desire in your heart to be satisfied. Even if you break the record and fulfill your set goal and graduate as the best student, you soon begin to feel a fresh dissatisfaction calling out from within your soul.
Soon you discover that the more you reach your goals, the more you desire more, the more you quest for more and achieve it; the more you get or become unsatisfied. Even if you are a wealthy or the wealthiest man in the world, you are still left with a vacuum and a sense of dissatisfaction in your soul.
This is the truth: Man is insatiable on his own!! That brings me to talk about God; Science has beguiled us that there is no God, however, 80% of people in the world believe in spirits. The truth I have realized as a person and I want to share my opinion today being Sunday which happen to be a special worship day for me is; God made me and created in me that vacuum so that I can depend on Him and seek Him to fill that emptiness and provide satisfaction. It’s only in Him that I have and can ever attain the point where am totally satisfied and feel fulfilled in myself. No woman, wealth, fame, substance can give a man that satisfaction.
So again I ask; “where satisfaction does lies?” The answer is; “Its only in God you can find satisfaction”.
You can think about it, feel free to express your opinion, but am convinced that it is true.
Peace! ONE LOVE!!!!!!!
To deprive a man of his natural liberty and to deny to him the ordinary amenities of life is worse then starving the body; it is starvation of the soul, the dweller in the body.
