No Best Man Duty Today.

I wrote four months ago how I came out of "retirement" to do the last best man duty. I wrote about it here. It feels so good today, going to a wedding without being the best man, running up and down. I actually enjoyed my time and gisted with lot of my friends.

I saw my friend too, Pamela. It is funny how things go round in life. The lady that got married today is my good friend. Pamela is my good friend. Imagine my surprise when I saw Pamela at the wedding, knowing she doesn't know this friend of mine who got married. She said she came because her fiancee called her to tell her it was his Cousin getting married. She only came without actually knowing who is getting married and she met me there.

Life is in cycles. It has a funny way of getting us excited and also making us wonder. Everything in life is connected somehow, trust me. There are so many people i have met that after meeting them, they are somehow connected to someone I know. It is an endless cycle people, endless. It pays to be good all the time because you don't know who you will come in contact with, that would need to do you a favour and you will later find out the person actually knows someone you know, who you have messed up with. You can imagine the heartbreak. We are all connected in this life. Be good always.

I got to know about a story. A lady dated one old man, and the wife of that man, unknowingly has been the doctor helping her with series of abortions. Unknowingly too, she fell in love with their son and he took her home. Imagine her shock when she found the mother and the father.

Okay, I have taking the attention off the wedding, but you get my point, right? Good. Moving on...

I enjoyed the wedding. It was totally awesome. My friend danced!. She loved dancing. Oh! The bubble is this, she married my namesake. Hahahaha. What do you expect when your friend likes you so much? The guy is a cool guy. Totally humble. We chatted for a while and dropped our gift for them. I really enjoyed being a guest without having any best man duty to perform during weddings.

So, I ended up not going to work again. I was able to speak with the manager. It rained few minutes after getting into the wedding reception hall. I couldn't have gone even if I wanted to.

So, the summary is this, I attended my friend's wedding, I had fun, I ate, I saw how life sometimes work, it rained, I danced, I took Sprite, i couldn't go to work again, i went home satisfied. Case closed. Hahahaha.
