A DECISION TO SUCCEED (VOL 01)

in #life7 years ago

Decision-making is a major factor that detemines destiny. Everything you are today is a product of your decision. You are where you are now because you decided to be there and you will be where you decide to be tomorrow. The same rule applies to success and failure .A Man who does not decide to succeed is automatically deciding to fail in life. Lack of decision-making is a major factor that makes people to fail in life. Many cannot decide what they want in life, but wait for situations and circumstances to decide for them. Any man that is not ready to decide whatever he want out of life must be ready to accept whatever life makes to? come his way.
l read of the story of Lloyd Collier, a man born on a farm near Whiteville, North Carolina. He was not opportune of having a formal education because of his family’s financial constraints Early in his life a disease that paralysed his body struck him.
Despite his affliction, he decided to pursue success The end result of his decision was that he owns the finest jewellery store in Whiteville, married the prettiest girl in the city and own the finest home. He also rears and educates a happy family of children.
Success is not by chance but by choice. It is neither congenital nor hereditary, so also failure is never genetic. Among the 50,000-100,000 genes we have in human genome, I am glad to announce to you that no gene codes for failure or success.
Because your father succeeded is never an assurance that you will succeed. Having been born into a rich family does not mean you cannot be poor. it is all a product of decision. A man will ever remain a failure until he decides to succeed.
Success and failure are two masters among which you must but choose one to serve. For you will either hate failure and love success or allow failure and see success bid you farewell.
