The world has been evolving and will continue to do so. Trends will always change. New millionaires will emerge. Some rich people will be become poor. Things will always change. It is therefore very important to position ourselves in order to maximize the benefits of these changes and not to become victims.
Gone are the days of acquiring degrees to get a good pay jobs if you want to have a good life. A wise man rightly said, Knowledge is the new money. And if I may add to what he said, I'll say, Application of knowledge is the new investment.
Think smart! The old conventional way of doing things are no longer befitting for this generation. Stop holding on to what's no longer working. We are in the era of massive opportunities. When you see a new trend, don't be sceptical about it. Study it, then build a brand that aligns with it.
Every revolution makes new people rich and drags down some rich people to poverty level.
Understand that the world is ever changing, so position yourself to learn new trends regularly and embrace these changes.
Today hasn't really been so cool with me, but I'll be fine.

I really love that part you said 'new millionaires will emerge, some rich people will become poor'. You know why because its true, very correct. This world is turning to something else that no one understands yet and if one dont apply the right principles towards tackling this issue would also result to something else. Take for example in Nigeria, there are lot of graduate out there with good results but are still unemployed. Instead of them to follow the trend of the modern world, they just rely on their old traditional methods thereby making them poorer than ever. I see cryptocurrencies taking over the whole world in subsequent time to come. The earlier we realise this, the better for us. Old traditional methods do not pay again. You might be rich and someone might be poor, if you don't know to invest and manage your wealth and resources then the reverse might be your case. What I'm trying to say, disjointed as it may seem, is that having access to information and resources about these changing times is very important. And when one isn't given the opportunity to access that info by the community, then the old ways just seem more attractive.

What I meant is that I would want to be successful, trendy, always on the good side of life changing events, learning about new innovations, exploiting them and all that.
But what if you don't have the tools to know when these things happen, the tools to make these things happen. And I'm talking about this country and the way it's run.
Sometimes, you need help and you can't get it, so you're tempted to rest on your haunches and leave things the way they were.
I don't know if a book can help, but I will read it.
