Steem passed $ 1.60 already...!?
Bitcoin going towards 3000, Litecoin moving towards 33, what next?
Now where do we go from here?
Woke up at six CEST {Central European Summer Time} this morning, the coughing woke me early. Routines done, got my coffee and went to my inhouse office upstairs. Checking on how Slothcoin mining went. Amazing to see how fast the millions role in for that one. And after that, like reading the paper in them oal' days, over to Steemit dot com. Wrote some short song lyrics in a reply, followed back some who followed me and then time to check the Bitmoney/ Cryptocurrency market. Heard some of the things I use to get rid of the evil cold could cause some strange reality experiences, so I just let it sink in for a while...
Really...!? The total market cap has already broken through the next level? Wow, it did! Passed the magical 100 billion US Dollar mark. This is simply amazing! Just had been writing replies about this in response to yesterdays posts. There it was happening in front of my eyes and Steem moved along with the waves! YES! Steem is amongst th strong ones, the ones that will ride the top of the waves! And it gained past the total market cap gain percentage, even a better sign. Last time I checked, before writing this post, it was already at $ 1.61 in value.
Those in the green now with this sudden jump are the toughest ones that will become rulers of the market. (Hm, guess that little red pill did do something to my perception of reality as it is.) When I woke up I already checked my Coinomi wallet and thought how weird that figure was that I saw there... It could not be, now could it?
Now let me finnish this with a bold speculation that this will go to where no cryptocurrency market has gone before. And it will be at warp speed! This is the momentum, attracting more attention, getting more investements in! When one thought that a 100 Billion US Dollar total market cap was big, then one has not seen nothin yet! And Steem, dear community member, is on top of the waves, it is there! (Think, I'll lay off the red pill for the time being.)
There is more to come, have a good one!

I hope to see a $1 Trillion market by 2020!
Going at this pace, I can hardly imagine anything else...
Those would be tremendous gains, but I don't think far fetched. There will be new (good) coins coming on the seen which might take the top spot. The sky is the limit as long as the governments stay out! I think having them listed as an asset rather then a currency helps!
It needs to stay decentralized I think. And with EOS about to hit the streets this is going to be a big game changer! Especially because Steem can take advantage of that code. (All one big family, Steem, Bitshares, EOS etc.)
The ones I mainly support, are the 3-2-1-DONE kinds of blockchains, like Steem, I think they have the advantage already and it will proof itself to be superior tech in the near future.
One trillion market cap, here we come! Would be cool to make a pool for a prediction date...
government always ruins the party, guess they haven't figured this threat out yet to their centralized world...
The more reason to keep it decentralized.
I can see it happening, Steem is going reach $10 by the end of the summer, daily new user, spread the word, show your friends the platform, show them how this community is better than Facebook. Where else do you get to earn rewards for posting, liking, and commenting? No where else, only Steem. Lets do this!
Woohooooo, let's do this, dayum! :-)
Love to see that gettin real!
Just like the stockmarket:
~disclaimer; this works until it doesn't 😜
Hahaha, great one. Buy it all! LOL
And we are just at the very beginning of "widespread adoption" of cryptocurrency... we are YEARS from "Bitcoin accepted here" being as common as the Visa/MasterCard symbol on shop doors.
And to add perspective... the total market cap of cryptos hit $100bn today. By comparison, the market cap of Apple, Inc. (ONE company) was about $814bn at the close of the markets today. So yes, there are MANY miles to go on this rollercoaster!
It is a growth market, cryptocurrencies are now at the momentum of becoming widely known and getting more acceptance. Do not know if it will take years, maybe for mass adoption it will take some more years. It can go fast though, once word gets out...
For me I envisioned 2017 as that it was going to be the year of the Blockchain breakthrough. The Bitmoney/ Cryptocurrency market does reflect that in my opion. Now is a good time to spread 'the word', as a figure of speech... There are many that are still in the dark about things like Bitcoin and Steem.
We are still the early adaptors, in a sense, I think. It is absolutely a rollercoaster ride and I am having the time of my life being on it! So much more to come...
Stay off that red pill!! Oh yes, warp speed it is!! It is quite incredible isn't it. To think that steem has not only held steady but pulled itself up a little against a maraudingly strong BTC is quite the thing.
Good lyrics ;0)
That red pill is a no go anymore...
It is freekin amazin! Suprises me day after day. And our little Steem engine actually proved it can! Now, when will it go for a top ten spot again...? That would be the next big thing.
Thanks mate! ;-)
Always a pleasure!!
I tell ya, the naysayers who powered down and out when steem was seven cents will be kicking themselves surely.
I see great things ahead!
Must indeed hurt a bit for those who decided it was time to leave back then.
So, always keep cool, even when it does hit the fan.
And so we did! ;-)
Steem now having a Seven in its value again, like in $ 1.70, that is though... =D
Onwards to great things!
Engage!
Sorry, it was lingering there in free air... :-)
Engage!!
Aw, magic stuff. Have you noticed the bug that means when you do a header that the text displays immediately below it instead of separated by a line break like it used to? Dashed annoying.
It would hurt. Definitely an example of patience and not acting in the heat off the moment.
Noticed that using markdown mixed with html sometimes give weird results. When wanting a line break beneath a header I did notice that it works better using the html header tags. Yet when I do some text setup I like it when the text gets right under the header.
There is some mixup there though, absolutely. Both setups after this are basicly the same, yet, give different results. Even putting in a hard return will not put a line after the Markdown Header. So I guess you might want to use the html headers to keep the hard return after them.
Markdown Header
plain text
HTML Header
plain text
I have been using the html ones however am actually quite grateful for it as it kinda made me think out of the box and make my headers with graphics instead!
Hi :)
I feel bad for commenting offtopic, but I can't reach you in chat ...
I'm trying to promote my witness @felixxx and would like to invite you to check it out :)
On a sidenote: my contribution could raise the market cap even more :P
Hey @felixxx,
Just wanted to check up on SteemIt dot chat, have been away from there for a long time. Be there in a few minutes!
I know you will raise the value of Steem! ;-)
Go Steem GOOOOOO!!
=D
